Metapcalip is a candle and craft workshop studio where small batches matter more than shelves of identical jars. We melt, scent, and pour on Karl-Liebknecht-Straße — teaching adults who want to understand wax temperature, wick choice, and how a room actually holds fragrance.
The studio opened as a place to make candles with intention: soy and beeswax blends, cotton wicks, and scent notes chosen for Leipzig evenings rather than department-store intensity. Guests come for open pour sessions, private scent-blending appointments, and finished vessels to take home. Metapcalip keeps the workbench visible — you see the pitcher, the thermometer, and the cooling rack, not a sealed backroom.
We favour calm rooms over loud retail. Light stays soft; music stays low. If you arrive between pours, you may find a tray of botanical oils waiting for the next blend, or cotton spools ready for a new wick set. That rhythm is the point of Metapcalip: craft you can watch, ask about, and try yourself.

Open pour evenings
Guided pour sessions for adults who want a finished candle without owning a full kit at home. We cover vessel prep, wax temperature windows, and safe wick centering. Sessions usually run two to two-and-a-half hours; your candle cools while we talk through burn care. Booking by phone or the form below keeps the bench from overcrowding.
Scent blending desk
A quieter appointment focused on fragrance architecture — top, heart, and base notes for a vessel you choose. Metapcalip stocks a rotating library of essential and fragrance oils suited to candle work. You leave with a written formula card and a small sample pour when schedule allows.
Ready vessels & gifts
When you prefer a finished piece, browse the current shelf of Metapcalip pours — amber jars, ceramic cups, and occasional tapers. Labels stay plain; scent names stay honest. We can wrap for local gifting within Leipzig and advise on burn times for each vessel size.
Private workshop hire
Small adult groups can reserve the studio outside regular open hours for a focused pour. Metapcalip provides materials and instruction; you bring the occasion. Capacity is limited so every guest has bench space and a clear view of the pour station.
