This privacy notice explains how Metapcalip Candle Studio (“Metapcalip”, “we”) processes personal data when you visit metapcalip.cfd, contact us, or book a workshop at Karl-Liebknecht-Straße 62, 04275 Leipzig, Germany. Data we process

When you send a message or book a session we may process your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your enquiry. Server logs may include IP address, browser type, and access time for security and technical stability. If you consent to optional analytics cookies, aggregated usage data may be collected as described on our Cookies page.

Purposes and legal bases

We process contact data to answer enquiries and organise workshops (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where steps are taken toward a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for legitimate interest in responding). Necessary technical cookies and security logs rely on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Optional analytics run only with consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and, for non-essential storage/access on your device, the German Telecommunications-Telemedia Data Protection Act (TTDSG).

Retention

Enquiry emails and booking notes are kept as long as needed to complete your request and meet commercial record duties, then deleted or anonymised. Server logs are rotated on a short cycle unless needed to investigate misuse.

Recipients

We do not sell personal data. Hosting or email providers acting as processors may receive data under contracts that require GDPR-compliant handling. Transfers outside the EEA occur only with appropriate safeguards if such tools are used.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and objection where applicable under Articles 15–21 GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing. To exercise rights, write to [email protected].

Complaints

You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Germany the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (BfDI) provides federal oversight information, and the Saxon data protection authority (Sächsischer Datenschutzbeauftragter) is competent for many controllers established in Saxony. You may also contact the authority at your habitual residence.
